The Crowfoot Glacier sits above Bow Lake which is located in Banff National Park. The icy giant of Crowfoot Glacier, which nestles away on the rocky flanks of Crowfoot Mountain, is seen from the Icefields Parkway.

Bow Lake is one of the largest lakes in Banff National Park and it is a glacier-fed lake, that is incredibly gorgeous. Its turquoise coloring is due to glacial till.

Peyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. This is one of the most popular lakes in the Banff National Park. The lake gets its stunning blue color from the glacial rock flour that flows into it from the surrounding Peyto Glacier. In winter, it will be frozen and covered in snow.

Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre
The Columbia Icefield Adventure takes you to one of the largest ice fields outside of the polar regions where you can witness breathtaking glaciers and vast frozen landscapes.
You’ll travel on an all-terrain Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier, a 10,000-year-old sheet of ice. The experience allows you to appreciate the power and majesty of nature in a truly unforgettable setting.
