Pasaje Santa Rosa
The Monument to Francisco Pizarro is an equestrian statue, made by the American artist Charles Cary Rumsey, whose widow donated to the city of Lima. The statue is located in the Santa Rosa Passage, between the Plaza Mayor and the Municipal Palace, erected as a tribute of the municipality to the founding of the city on January 18, 1535 by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro for the recovery of the historic center of Lima.
