You’ll learn the basics of Chinese knotting, a traditional craft rich in symbolism such as good fortune and harmony. After a short introduction to the cultural meaning of different knots, your instructor will demonstrate several essential knotting techniques.
You’ll then choose whether to create a decorative knot or a small piece of jewellery, such as a bracelet or ear rings. Step by step, you’ll practice tying and shaping the knots with guidance throughout, and complete at least one finished piece to take home.
