Start your day with a shared transfer from your hotel in Chiang Mai to a small rural village near Mae Win, nestled in the mountains of Doi Mae Sapok. The drive takes approximately one hour through scenic countryside roads.

Program Learn about the traditional rice farming process from local farmers and take part in each step — from seed to table. Begin with an introduction to rice cultivation in Thailand, then try pounding rice using a wooden mortar and pestle. Continue by pulling young rice seedlings from the nursery bed and preparing the muddy field for planting. After transplanting the seedlings by hand, wrap up the experience by learning how to steam sticky rice the traditional way and enjoy a simple, home-style Thai lunch on the farm.
