During the Sacred Ceremony, the Master prays with three Coca leaves (Kintu) that Mother Earth gave to us and to the Apus (Great Mountain Spirits). The shamanic healer also uses items like candy, colored wools, myrrh, frankincense, tallow and a variety of foods and herbs that Andean people called “reach or dispatch“. These items have to be specifically prepared for the offering by the Master or Andean Priest, who is also called «Paqos». Each element has its spiritual meaning andis therefore part of the ceremony.
