Negombo is considered to be one of the best locations to go deep sea game fishing on Sri Lanka's western coast. The convenient distance from the international airport (15 km) makes it easy to add one of our fishing trips to the beginning or end of your holiday in Sri Lanka. Close to the coast you will find Grouper, Snapper Emperor, Bonefish while a bit further out Indian Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Seer fish, Kingfish, Barracuda, Barramundi, Jackfish, Trevally, Tuna and far out Sailfish, Swordfish, Marlin and Shark. You will be led by an experienced and knowledgeable fishing guide.

Itinerary
You will be picked up and brought back from any city hotel in Negombo. If you are away from the Negombo municipality limits, we will pick you up from a pre-agreed place in Negombo. Alternatively you could come to the fishing harbour as well. After the initial briefing, we get in to the waters with the first rays of sunlight.
Fishing is a sacred ritual for a sizeable portion of the world’s population; it is also a vital mainstay for villagers living along the island’s 1,340km coastal belt.
