The ranch, originally known as Rancho de los Quiotes (Ranch of the Spanish Daggers), was designed by Carrillo to evoke the style of the early California rancho era. Today, it's a testament to his vision and a reminder of a bygone era, featuring hand-crafted adobe buildings, beautiful grounds, and a rich history connected to both the Spanish heritage of California and the Golden Age of Hollywood. Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but visitors should be aware that the park may close during inclement weather or muddy conditions.
