They’ll walk across the Via Domitia, the original Roman road exposed in the city center. At the Narbonne Cathedral, they’ll explore soaring Gothic architecture and peaceful cloisters. The tour continues to the Archbishop’s Palace courtyard, then into Les Halles, the town’s 120-year-old indoor food market bustling with life, color, and local flavor.
The experience also includes a walk across the Pont des Marchands, one of the few remaining Roman bridges still inhabited with shops. Throughout the tour, guests enjoy stories, insights, and a relaxed pace with a passionate local guide, accompanied by private transportation to and from Carcassonne.
