It consists of an octagonal masonry tower with a lantern and gallery, situated above a two-story building for the lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse has been recently repainted and is now white with vertical red stripes. The keeper’s house is red.

The Grotta Azzurra is one of Capri’s most famous natural attractions, known for the intense blue color of the water created by a unique natural light effect. Marina Grande is a wide, sunlit bay on the northern side of the island of Capri, framed by dramatic cliffs and the slopes of Monte Solaro.
