This guided winter tour turns Budva’s coastline into a calm sea-kayak loop. We start at Slovenska Beach and paddle in a small group below the Old Town walls and rocky shore, then continue to coastal caves. The guide leads you into Pigeon Cave and low sea passages that are only practical by kayak.
The second part focuses on St Nicholas Island. We land near a small chapel linked to medieval travellers and crusader stories, take a short walk and have a light snack, then follow the wilder side of the island under the Lovers’ Arch and out towards the lighthouse at the far tip.
On calm days the guide also points out St Sava’s shoal, a shallow strip that seems to stretch from the island back towa...

Itinerary
1
SUP - KAYAK - ME - TOURS
We meet at our EDDY start point on Slovenska Beach. Look for the EDDY flags. Here we prepare the kayaks, give out the equipment, explain the route, and run a basic paddling and safety briefing before launching. Then we leave Budva from the water, passing out of the busy beach area and starting the route south. This first section helps the group settle into the kayaks and find a steady rhythm.
2
Sveti Nikola
We cross toward St. Nicholas Island and pass by the natural rock arch known as Lovers’ Arch. It is one of the first strong visual points of the route and marks the transition from Budva Bay into the open coastline.
45 minutes
3
Sveti Stefan
After St. Nicholas Island, the route follows a longer coastal stretch with cliffs, clear water, and open sea views. This is where the tour starts to feel like a proper coastal crossing rather than a short local paddle. We continue toward Sveti Stefan and paddle past the island-hotel from the water, seeing one of Montenegro’s most iconic coastal landmarks from sea level.

We stop in a small hidden bay for a short rest and light snacks before continuing toward Petrovac. This is the main reset point of the route, a chance to land, stretch, swim if conditions allow, and get ready for the next section.
1 hour and 30 minutes
5
Rijeka Rezevici
The route continues along the Reževići coast, one of the quieter parts of this stretch. Depending on the season and water flow, we may pass the Reževići waterfall, which is stronger in winter and early spring.
1 hour
6
Perazica Do
We pass the abandoned Hotel AS area near Perazića Do. The huge unfinished structure stands right on the coast and creates a sharp contrast with the natural landscape around it.

7
St. Nedjelja Church CO
The final part of the tour brings us toward the islands in front of Petrovac. This is the closing highlight of the route: open water, rocky islands, and the feeling that you have crossed a real piece of the Montenegrin coastline by kayak.

We finish the route in the Petrovac area, depending on weather, sea conditions, and group pace. The exact final landing point may be adjusted by the guides for safety and comfort.
