This tour is the first of its kind on Bonaire. Guides are experienced certified Bonaire tour guides. ** All photos shown of glass were found at these sites.
The Kralendijk beaches we will visit :
1. A former area of Salt Company employee homes and now a place for local fisherman. This area is where we find historic pieces of glass dating from the 1700 and 1800's. Pirate glass and pottery is common here. Marbles have been found here as well.
2. In the 1950's this was the area used for local household and commercial waste. Typical finds here are; home decor pieces, textured window glass, pirate glass along with old bottle pieces.
