Explore the Sacro Bosco, also known as the Park of the Monsters, a 16th-century woodland created by Prince Vicino Orsini as an “anti-Renaissance” garden—made to amaze. Carved into volcanic rock along shaded paths, the park features stone sculptures of dragons, elephants, mythological figures, monsters, animals, and mysterious inscriptions.
You’ll have time to explore at your own pace, stop for photos at the most iconic statues (including the famous Ogre’s Mouth), and enjoy the park’s surreal, dark fairytale atmosphere—linked to Salvador Dalí and a Tim Burton vibe.
Your pickup/arrival depends on the option you choose: with the VIP Private option you’ll be picked up at your hotel/accommodation within the Aurelian Walls and travel by private transfer; with the Standard option you’ll meet at Roma Termini, with train and organized transfers included. Your entrance ticket is included.

You’ll enjoy a short stroll through Bomarzo village, a charming medieval hill town perched on a ridge, known for its quiet lanes, stone houses, small squares and scenic viewpoints over the surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect place to slow down after the Park of the Monsters, take a few photos, and soak up an authentic local atmosphere far from the crowds. How you reach the village depends on the option you choose: with the VIP Private option, you’ll be transported directly to Bomarzo by your private vehicle for maximum comfort; with the Standard option, you’ll have a short 15-minute walk to reach Bomarzo, where you can explore at your own pace, and your sandwich lunch stop will already be arranged for you.

Lunch depends on the option you choose: with the VIP Private option, you’ll sit down in a typical local trattoria in Bomarzo and enjoy a traditional meal including a local appetizer, one first course, a glass of wine, and coffee; with the Standard option, you’ll enjoy a homemade-style sandwich with local products, served with a glass of wine, with your lunch stop already planned for you. After lunch, transportation also depends on your option: with the VIP Private option, your private vehicle will take you back to Rome directly to your hotel/accommodation; with the Standard option, a private vehicle will take you back to the station in time to catch your return train to Roma Termini.
