Bloemfontein Municipal Hall is a structure in Bloemfontein that houses the city council. Bloemfontein City Hall was constructed in 1936 and was vandalized in 2017, and Gordon Leith designed this sandstone building. The council meeting chamber is located behind the city hall's eastern entrance. New municipal offices were built alongside the structure in the 1980s. Even after reforms to municipal governance in 2000 and reclassification in 2011, the local government has continued to use the town hall.

Fourth Raadsaal
The Fourth Raadsaal is a historic building that houses the Free State Provincial Legislature, the Free State's legislature. On President Brand Street, it is just across from the Supreme Court of Appeal. The Appeal Court used the chamber and associated chambers until its building was completed in 1929. The newly constituted provincial legislature was housed in the structure following the first non-racial elections in 1994.

The National Museum
The National Museum in Bloemfontein goes back to the 1870s when its collections and exhibitions were mostly of international rarities. It was founded on July 20, 1877, and opened to the public on May 20, 1878. The then-Free State Volksraad made the historic Raadsaal building accessible for housing the Museum collections. In 1913, a new museum building was erected, and the museum officially opened in 1915. Since 1881, the museum has been primarily supported by the government. Its holdings gradually evolved to include a wide range of natural and human scientific artifacts through gifts, sales, and exchange agreements
