Karni-Mata-Tempel
Located about 30 km from Bikaner, the Karni Mata Temple is one of Rajasthan’s most unusual and fascinating shrines. Dedicated to Karni Mata, a revered 14th-century mystic and incarnation of Goddess Durga, the temple is world-famous for its thousands of black rats, locally known as kabbas, which are considered sacred and protected by devotees.
