Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Tirana to Shkoder, one of Albania’s oldest and most historic cities. Nestled between mountains and lakes, Shkoder is known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere. Our visit includes a short walking tour of the city, where you’ll explore its charming streets and local life. We’ll also visit the iconic Rozafa Castle, perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views over Lake Shkoder and the surrounding valleys. This stop offers the perfect blend of history, culture, and stunning scenery before we continue our journey into the Albanian Alps.

Lepushe
After exploring Shkoder, we continue our journey to Lepushe, a peaceful mountain village in the heart of the Kelmend region. Surrounded by dramatic peaks, crystal-clear rivers, and untouched alpine beauty, Lepushe is the perfect gateway to the Albanian Alps.
Upon arrival, you’ll check into a cozy traditional guesthouse, where you’ll experience the warmth and hospitality of the local community. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a gentle 2-hour hike through lush valleys, past rivers and waterfalls, and into the heart of Kelmend. Along the way, we’ll visit the Bashkimi Canyon and the beautiful Waterfall of Kelmend, offering a perfect first taste of the region’s natural wonders.
