Jiankou is an unrestored wild section of the Great Wall, which is exactly what makes it special. To reach the Wall, you'll need to walk about one hour up a gravel mountain trail from where your vehicle parks. Please prepare in advance: wear sturdy hiking footwear with good grip, bring plenty of drinking water, and carry sun protection (hat, sunscreen). A reasonable level of physical fitness is required, as the trail is uneven and uphill. Check the weather before you go, and be ready for changing conditions on the mountain. If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before booking.

Jiankou is an unrestored wild wall — that's exactly what makes it special. Reaching the Wall itself involves about an hour of walking up a gravel mountain path from where your vehicle parks. A reasonable level of fitness is required, so please consider this before confirming your booking.
Choose Your Package
**1. Shared 7-Seater Transfer** — Budget-friendly round-trip transport in a comfortable shared 7-seater, with pickup and drop-off at your downtown Beijing hotel. Transport only, no guide — you're free to explore independently. Works with either itinerary (stay at Jiankou, or hike through to Mutianyu), and bottled water is provided in the vehicle.
**2. Private Transfer** — Your own dedicated vehicle for your group, with direct hotel pickup and drop-off and no other passengers on board. Your driver will wait at the Jiankou trailhead, or drive around to meet you at Mutianyu if you choose the through-hike. Transport only — perfect for self-guided groups who want maximum flexibility.
