I lived a unique experience sailing the mythical Beagle Canal on an excursion that combines unforgettable landscapes and emblematic fauna of the region. During the tour we will visit Bird Island, home to numerous species of seabirds; the Isle of Wolves, where we will observe sea lions in their natural habitat; and the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
The highlight of the experience will be the landing on Martillo Island, where you will have the opportunity to take a guided walk among Papuan penguins in their natural environment. Wichtig ist, dass wir Papuapinguine sehen werden, die das ganze Jahr über auf Hammer Island leben. Sie sind nach Kaiserpinguin und Königspinguin die drittgrößte Kolonie. Derzeit sind 68 Pinguinpaare registriert. Obwohl ihre Präsenz stabil ist, ist es wichtig zu beachten, dass wir in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum besuchen. Daher kann die Anzahl der Pinguine, die wir bei jeder Landung sehen können, variieren, da es sich um Wildtiere handelt. Ja, wir werden sie sehen und ein einzigartiges Wintererlebnis auf dieser kleinen subantarktischen Insel genießen.
