Vins de la famille Kies
Our first experience is at Kies Family Wines, a sixth-generation Barossa family winery in Lyndoch. Here, we step beyond the usual cellar door and into the private barrel room for a structured tasting. Kies produces its wines from its own estate-grown fruit, making this a great introduction to both the family and the winemaking traditions of the Barossa.

Château Tanunda
From Kies, we continue to Chateau Tanunda, one of the Barossa’s great historic landmarks. Established in 1890, its impressive bluestone winery has been at the heart of Barossa winemaking for more than 135 years. Enjoy a self-guided experience through the estate followed by a structured tasting, bringing together the history, architecture and wines of this remarkable property.

Melba's Chocolates Barossa Valley
For lunch, we head to Melba’s in Angaston for a relaxed regional platter showcasing local produce, accompanied by your choice of a glass of Yalumba wine or soft drink. There’s plenty of time to enjoy the food, conversation and surroundings, making lunch a genuine part of the experience rather than simply a stop along the way.

C'était caché.
Before we leave Melba's, enjoy an exclusive private Yalumba port and chocolate tasting, bringing together Yalumba fortified wine and locally made Melba’s chocolate. It’s a special addition to the day and a chance to enjoy two well-known South Australian names in a completely different way.

Rosenvale Vineyards
From Angaston, we continue through the Barossa to Rosenvale Vineyards. This three-generation family winery is passionate about producing wines from its own vineyards, and you’ll have the chance to taste a selection while hearing more about the family and their connection to the land.

Avenue of Palms
