Basilica de la Sagrada Familia
Start at the Nativity Facade, where children become explorers, spotting hidden animals in the stone: a turtle, a turkey, a pigeon, and maybe even a lion. Parents will learn how Gaudi filled his work with symbols inspired by nature, while kids dive into the fun of discovery.
Once inside, the basilica becomes a playground of light and color. Sunlight streams through the stained-glass windows in every shade of the rainbow, and families are invited to spot how many different colors they can find across the floor. Then it is time to look up at Gaudi’s magical forest. Children are challenged to count how many of these tree-columns touch the ground. Meanwhile, parents gain a deeper understanding of Gaudi’s vision and how he designed light and space to create a feeling of harmony and awe.
The journey continues at the Passion Facade, where kids search for soldiers sculpted into the stone. While children complete their challenge, parents learn about the dramatic scenes carved into the stone.
