Itinerary
1
China Town
Chinatown Bangkok (Yaowarat Road) is one of the city's oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods, famous for its rich culture, gold shops, colorful markets, and, most of all, incredible street food. Packed with history and buzzing with energy, it's the perfect place to explore narrow alleys, admire Chinese temples, and taste some of the best local dishes in Bangkok.
2
Ratchawong Road
Walk along Songwad Street until you reach Ratchawong Road, home to the largest wholesale market for clothing accessories, stationery, and fabrics—better known as Sampheng Market. From here, the road connects to Chinatown (Yaowarat Road), Bangkok’s ultimate food paradise.
There’s an endless variety of street food to discover, and our professional tour guide will take you to the best local spots. You’ll sample delicious finger foods like chicken satay served with sweet and sour peanut sauce, and a refreshing cucumber and red onion relish. Taste Thailand’s world-famous Pad Thai, enjoy flavorful seafood boiled rice, and try dried noodles with red pork (Ba Mee Moo Daeng). Refresh yourself with a classic Thai iced tea, and much more!
30 minutes
3
Song Wat Road
This charming street, with a history spanning over 100 years since the reign of King Rama V, is rich with stories and culture. Songwad Street was once famous for its trade in herbs, fruit and vegetable seeds, and remains deeply connected to Bangkok’s food culture and heritage.
As you walk along, you’ll admire a beautiful blend of Chinese and Colonial architecture. Many of the old houses and shopfronts have been lovingly preserved—some transformed into cozy restaurants, cafes, and art galleries, while others continue their original trades selling herbs and seeds. You might even get the chance to sip a refreshing cup of traditional herbal tea along the way.
