Starting in Baden's old town near the Stadtturm, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and set off through the lanes. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.
Above the rooftops, Ruine Stein sets the scene: the shattered Habsburg fortress once guarded documents of the entire empire, and the riddles up here come with the best view in town.
Down at the Kurplatz, the trail taps into 2,000 years of spa history — Roman soldiers soaked in these 47-degree springs, and 19th-century Europe followed, building grand hotels around them.
