Our first stop will be the Monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and widely recognized as the birthplace of the Spanish language.
In this remarkable and historic setting, we will take a brief journey through the history of La Rioja and Spain, exploring what makes this region so unique. It will also be the perfect opportunity to introduce the day's itinerary and give you an overview of the experiences that await throughout the tour.

Our second stop is a true highlight of any visit to La Rioja: a winery tour followed by a wine tasting experience.
We have carefully selected an authentic, family-owned winery in the heart of Rioja Alta, far from the crowds and tourist traps. Here, you will discover the passion, traditions, and craftsmanship that have shaped Rioja wines for generations, while enjoying a selection of carefully crafted local wines in a welcoming and intimate setting.

The day continues with lunch at a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a traditional Riojan menu. This is the perfect opportunity to discover the region’s rich culinary heritage through authentic dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients, paired with the warm hospitality for which La Rioja is renowned.

We continue our journey through authentic La Rioja with a truly unique village and one of my personal favourites that I am delighted to share with you.
Camprovín, a small hamlet of just 300 inhabitants, enjoys a remarkable vitality thanks to its annual street art festival, which has transformed the village into an open-air museum. Here, tradition and modern creativity blend harmoniously, creating a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the region.
As you stroll through its colourful streets, you will also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the rolling landscapes of Rioja Alta, making this stop a memorable highlight of the day.

Nájera will be our final stop of the day.
Once the capital of a medieval kingdom, a historic crossroads, and an important stop on the Camino de Santiago, Nájera holds a special place in the history and identity of La Rioja.
Here, we will visit its most iconic landmark, the Monastery of Santa María la Real, a masterpiece of history, art, and spirituality. This remarkable site provides the perfect conclusion to a unique day spent discovering the soul of La Rioja—its heritage, traditions, landscapes, and way of life—through an authentic and meaningful experience.
