KZ-Gedenkstatte Mauthausen
We visit the memorial in the morning, while the mind is fresh. You will walk through the former concentration camp, seeing the "Stairs of Death," the barracks, and the memorials dedicated to the 90,000 victims. It is a heavy but necessary visit. With your personal guide, you can move at your own pace, honoring the memory of those who suffered. We ensure you have enough time to process this experience without the distraction of large crowds.

Melk
Leaving the memorial, we drive towards the Danube. We stop at a traditional Austrian tavern in Melk. This break is crucial—not just for food, but to "change gears" emotionally. (Lunch cost not included).
After the morning's shadows, the Abbey feels incredibly vibrant. We explore the massive courtyards and the interior (Museum & Marble Hall).
A highlight of the tour is the world-famous Monastic Library, housing thousands of medieval manuscripts.
We end in the Abbey Church, a symphony of gold and light. It is a life-affirming conclusion to our journey.
