Meeting point is the St. Larissis in Athens. Go to the main trainstaion in Athens 15 minutes before the train departure, get on board and enjoy the green valleys until your train arrive to Kalabaka which is the last station.

Catch the train departs 07.58 am from Athens central rail station, aka Larrisis train station, and enjoy a wonderful trip through Greek amazing countryside, from mountainous landscapes to seaside views. At the time you reach Kalabaka's train station one of our partners will wait for you holding a signboard with your name written on it. Our partners will take you to your accommodation and they will tell you all the information about the sunset tour you will participate the same day.

Kalambaka
Kalabaka is a town and seat of the municipality of Meteora in the Trikala regional unit. The Meteora monasteries are located near the town. A Greek inscription on the wall of one of the town's oldest churches (Saint John the Baptist) testifies to the existence of an ancient Greek settlement under the name Aiginion. In the 10th century AD, it was known as Stagoi (Σταγοί). The meaning of the word Kalabaka is of a Turkish origin and means "powerful fortress".

Byzantine Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary
Explore a 1000 years old church which was built in the acropolis of kalabaka and over the ruins of an ancient temple of god Apollo. Turn yourself to archeologists and find all the ancient ruins from the temple embedded in the wall. See the amazing frescoes in there and an old mosaic floor revealed beneath current floor.
