Following a scenic drive along the coast, arrive at the captivating Temple of Poseidon, dramatically situated on Cape Sounio. Built between 444 and 440 BC, this ancient Greek temple stands as a testament to the importance of the sea god in ancient times. Admire its elegant white columns and learn how this promontory served as a vital landmark for sailors. Take in the expansive views of the Aegean Sea, stretching out before you in all its glory.
