The half day private Christian tour begins with a visit to Acropolis hill. Stroll around the ancient citadel while your tour guide relates to you the fascinating history of such monuments as the Temple of Athena Nike, the Theatre of Dionysus, the majestic Parthenon and the Mars Hill (Acts 17:22) where Apostle Paul preached the word of the Christian God to the Athenians.

Proceed to the Ancient Agora after a short walk, passing by the picturesque Monastiraki area. The Agora was the heart of Athens in ancient times and meeting point of St. Paul with the first followers of Christianity. Here is also located the Church of the Holy Apostles, a medieval orthodox church from the 10th century.

Next stop is the impressive Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896 (short photo stop). Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Continue passing by some of the most significant parts of the city, such as the Athens Trilogy (University of Athens, Academy of Athens and National Library) the National Garden, the Hadrian’s Arc, the St. Paul’s Church, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, the Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), the Catholic Cathedral, the Old Parliament, the Constitution Square and the Russian Orthodox Church. After a tour full of images, your private experience finishes with a drop off service back to your hotel.
