After an overnight stop in Pokhara with views of Annapurna Himalaya range with Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’, having breakfast then drive beyond Pokhara to begin our first day walks. A short drive facing views of Annapurna past farm villages and towns and then at Bhirethati village, as drive leads further to start walking from low warm farm areas and then on stone steps with an uphill climb to reach a large Gurung village at Ghandruk often spelled and as Ghandrung also.
