Red Light District (De Wallen)
The Red Light District also known as Den Wallen is the medieval city center of Amsterdam. Beautifully crossed by bridges and canals, the area is considered of great cultural importance to the Netherlands. Having been considered a den of vice throughout the past, today it houses the highest concentration of Amsterdam’s famous red light windows and coffeshops. Also found here are many strip clubs, bars and clubs.
