Pick up: Between 05:00 a.m. and 05:30 a.m. from your hotel.
The adventure begins with an early departure from Cusco, ascending to the majestic Andes on meandering roads, traversing picturesque villages and rural landscapes until you reach Ajanaco, the gateway to the Amazon rainforest, located 3,500 meters above sea level.
From this point, we begin the descent into the Cloud Forest, a lush and life-filled ecosystem, home to orchids, heliconias and tree ferns. During the tour, it is possible to observe emblematic species such as the rock rooster, the colorful umbrella bird, the exotic masked trogon and the majestic quetzal, as well as some mammal species such as monkeys.
In the afternoon, we arrive at Bambu Lodge, where we will settle and spend the first night in the jungle.
