Huxian near Xi'an is renown for the paper-cutting and farmer's paintings, and this day tour will let you enjoy the cooking, paper-cutting, and painting experience with a local guide from Xi'an. Centrally located Xi'an hotel pickup and drop off are included.
At 10am, your guide will pick you up from your centrally located Xi'an hotel, then take 1.5-hour car ride to Huxian. Firstly you will visit an old village where you will view a few seniors living in the traditional houses, and most of the villagers already relocated in the new village. Afterwards you will visit a family in the new village, where you will learn how to make local noodles and pancakes. It is a yummy lunch to taste what you cooked!
After the home-cooked lunch, you will learn paper-cutting with the host, which is renown for its vivid figures.
Later, you will visit an art gallery that is owned by a local farmer painter whose paintings have been exhibited all over the world. You would like to learn the basic way to draw the farmer's painting with her, that is a unique experience.
Afterwards you will be transferred back to your hotel where the tour concludes.
