The Alberton Gorge Half Day is your most popular run and the fastest way to experience the Clark Fork's signature whitewater. We launch just 40 minutes west of Missoula, drop into the canyon, and run a tight string of Class II and III rapids — Triple Bridges, Tumbleweed, Fang, and Boat Eater among them — broken up by calm pools where you can swim, splash, or just look up at the canyon walls and circling raptors.
