Piata Unirii
Visiting the spot where Bucharest started and where we can find the oldest street in Bucharest and old town full of nice restaurants and coffee shops. You will be able to experience a taste of the city and get to know not only the touristy spots but also the ones preferred by the locals.

Calea Victoriei
Calea Victoriei is the street in Bucharest with the most posh ad high end fashion shops as well as the newest spot in town for modern coffee shops, bistro`s and places where you can grab a bite or enjoy a longer brunch. At the beginning of Calea Victoriei we have one of the most famous pastry shops in Romania called Casa Capsa where they still serve cakes which follow recipes of over 100 years ago.

Old Town
Wander around the cobble stones of Bucharest, discover the oldest street, the ruins of a medieval palace, restaurants and coffee shops. The old town used to be a place where different guilds would come together and trade: leather, furniture, textiles, furs. Today it is the busiest spot for leisure, clubbing and especially during the summer it is buzzing with excitement and fun.

Palatul Parlamentului
The heaviest building in the world, 9 levels below and 9 levels above, the Palace of Parliament is also the second biggest administrative building in the world. It was built during 1984-1997 with some bits of the building still in construction today with 70% of its space is still unused.

The Romanian Athenaeum
Majestic building with neoclassical and eclectic style built in 1888,it is used as a concert hall for classical music. What is interesting about the building is that it was partially built with funds collected from the population under the slogan "Give one leu for the Atheneum". Inside we can find paintings in the al fresco style representing the most important moments of Romanian history.

Ion Luca Caragiale National Theatre
Built in 1854 the National Theatre contains 7 auditoriums for representations. The area in front of the theatre is representative for Romanians as the kilometer 0 for democracy and a memory of the painful events from 1989 and 1991.

Coltei Church
Built in 1702, still functioning today as an orthodox church in the name of Three Holly Hierarchs. It was once part of a bigger complex of buildings of which only the Coltea Hospital is still standing, the first hospital in Bucharest built in 1704.

Caru' cu bere
Opened as a beer house in 1879, well known for its art nouveau architecture and stained glass windows. Today it is the epitome of Romanian cuisine and during the evening dancers and singers create a beautiful atmosphere dancing Romanian folklore dances and songs.

Stavropoleos Monastery
Still functioning as a monastery for nuns today, it was built in 1724 in a brancovenesc style. We stop to discover the church, the yard which is a museum in itself with artefacts saved from other churches in Bucharest.
