St. Thomas Church, also known as San Thome Church, is a historic church located in Chennai, India. Built over the tomb of Saint Thomas the Apostle, this magnificent church is a testament to the enduring legacy of Christianity in India. The church's rich history dates back to the 1st century AD, when Saint Thomas arrived in India to spread the Gospel. He established seven churches along the western coast of India, including the San Thome Church. After his martyrdom in 72 AD, the church was built over his tomb.

Kapaleeshwarar Temple
Kapalishwara Temple, located in the heart of old Chennai, is one of the oldest and most revered Shiva temples in India. The temple's rich history dates back to the 7th century AD, during the Pallava dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped here as Kapalishwara, the destroyer of evil. The temple's sanctum sanctorum houses a magnificent lingam, which is believed to be self-manifested.
Kapalishwara Temple is also famous for its sacred tank, which is believed to have healing properties.
