Isartor
Trying is the focus of this city tour. Our city guide awaits you with a welcome drink at the Isartor. The kosmo-bio-dynamic syrup from St. Michaelshof on Viktualienmarkt is gently prepared and awakens all the senses. Depending on the season, we offer the drink warm or cold. Then we embark on a culinary journey of discovery through the old town.
The following delicious treats await you:
• refreshing or warming welcome drink - prepared for you depending on the season
• traditional Munich Pfennigmuckerl from the Hofkunstmühle
• Moderated beer sample 3 x 0.1 l with Munich's best obazdn and double-baked farmer's crust bread
• little surprise from Alfons Schuhbeck at Platzl
• Award-winning white sausage from the butcher's row with sweet mustard
• freshly baked lard from the Café Frischhut
After our welcome drink, we walk to the Hofkunstmühle, Munich's oldest mill. Fresh wheat flour is still produced here every day. We are allowed to try an Altmünchner specialty, the Pfennigmuckerl. Then we go to our beer tasting. Three small beers from different breweries will be tasted. Try yourself as a beer sommelier! We also serve two types of Obazdn from the Viktualienmarkt with a double-baked farmer's bread. The award-winning Bäckerliesl bread is also sold at the Viktualienmarkt and with its intense crust is a real taste experience.
We continue with our city tour to Platzl, where we get a little surprise during a short visit to Alfons Schuhbeck's chocolate shop.
We continue walking through Platzl towards Viktualienmarkt. An award-winning white sausage awaits us at the quaint Munich butcher row directly on the market, of course with fresh pretzels and sweet mustard. According to the old custom, we separate the white sausage like real, long-established Munichers. After a short visit to the Viktualienmarkt we come to the sweet highlight of our tour: the lard noodle. At the iconic Café Frischhut, we can watch our stripping, striezer, donuts or tube noodles being baked fresh. The warm delicacies rolled in sugar round off our tour.
Please note that the route of our tour can also be changed.
