Abbazia del Goleto
The Campania Region is one of the richest in history and culture in Italy: the treasures to be discovered are endless, and some of these are small gems set in natural landscapes far from the chaos of the big cities.
Dedicate a day to your relaxation, to discover new places: your local guide, expert in the history of the area, will be able to accompany you to timeless places and stories!
The Irpinia area of Campania has the appearance of a place of the past, poetically unchanged and genuine: small villages that follow one another, among deeply rooted local traditions and typical products.
These are still places of great devotion today, as evidenced by the Goleto Abbey - which you will visit together with your guide.
Founded in 1133, over the years it has grown so much that it has become a real citadel, hosting a male and a female convent.

Montemarano
Unfortunately, the progressive depopulation of the area has led to a slow abandonment of the citadel: only in the last 40 years, with the renewed interest of some religious, the Abbey - which today has the appearance of a ruin - has been rehabilitated to become the reference point for those in need of peace and spirituality.
After this fascinating place, it will be time to move to nearby Montemarano: your guide will show you the best places to stop for your lunch or dinner, with typical products and local wines. Observing the landscapes will be truly beautiful, an experience you will not forget!
