Early Morning — Pick-Up & Departure 7:00-7:30AM: Hotel pick-up in District 1/central Ho Chi Minh City (time varies by specific location).

Drive to Cu Chi Tunnels: ~1.5 h drive from Ho Chi Minh City to the tunnels.

Cu Chi Tunnel Experience: Arrive and begin your visit. You’ll typically watch an introductory film then explore the tunnel network, including living areas, military facilities, and sometimes a shooting range and exhibits.

Drive to Mekong Delta (My Tho / Tien River): ~1.5 – 2 h drive to the Delta region after lunch

Lunch Break: Lunch at a local restaurant serving Vietnamese cuisine near the tunnel area or en route to the Delta. Vegan menu can be requested.

Mekong River & Canal Cruise: 2:00 – 4:30 PM: Enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River, sampan ride through narrow canals lined with coconut trees, visit fruit orchards, honey houses and local workshops like coconut candy makers. Many tours include tropical fruit tasting and traditional music performances.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City: 5:00 – 7:00 PM: Relax on the drive back. Most tours drop you off at your hotel or a central meeting point in the evening.
