About
This tour will take us to some of the most important sites that defined the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama. Our journey will take us on a definitive and emotional story of the civil rights era that changed the fabric of American life and sparked a movement. From the pulpit where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached to the spot where Mrs. Rosa Parks refuse to give up her seat on a Montgomery City bus. Afterwards, we'll continue on to the Civil Rights Memorial center and many other sites related to the Civil Rights movement. It's been said that those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

National Memorial for Peace and Justice
The National Memorial for Peace and Justice was conceived with the hope of creating a sober, meaningful site where people can gather and reflect on America's history of racial inequality. Set on a six-acre site, the memorial uses sculpture, art, and design to contextualize racial terror. The national memorial is a sacred space for truth-telling and reflection about racial terror in America and its legacy.

The Legacy Museum
Located on the site of a former warehouse where black people were enslaved in Montgomery, Alabama, The Legacy Museum uses interactive media, sculpture, videography, and exhibits to immerse visitors in the sights and sounds of the Domestic Slave Trade, racial terrorism, the Jim Crow South, and the world's largest prison system. Compelling visuals and date-rich exhibits provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity to investigate America's history of racial injustice and its legacy - to draw dynamic impacted by tragic history of racial inequality.
