Highland Park
This experience begins with a focused introduction to Azerbaijan’s capital Baku where historical density meets modern design at an international standard. The day opens with an ascent to Highland Park, the city’s most elevated viewpoint, offering unobstructed visuals of the Flame Towers skyline and Baku Bay. This orientation establishes the spatial and architectural scale of the capital from a commanding perspective.

Icherisheher
From the Highland Park, travelers are led into the UNESCO World Heritage zone of Icherisheher (Old City), one of the most intact medieval Islamic urban environments in the region. Within its fortified walls, access is granted to key historical structures: the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and several preserved Caravanserais. These monuments provide direct insight into the political, architectural and trade-based history of the Caucasus during the peak periods of the Silk Road.

Heydar Aliyev Center
The contrast between heritage and innovation is exemplified in the visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, internationally recognized for its boundary-pushing architectural form and cultural relevance. This structure, designed by the late Zaha Hadid, functions not only as an icon of modern Azerbaijan but as a representation of its commitment to design, national image and cultural diplomacy.

Ateshgah - Fire Temple
In the afternoon, the program extends to the Absheron Peninsula for engagement with two of the most rare and geologically active fire phenomena in the world. First is the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a site of historic Zoroastrian pilgrimage where natural gas flames rise continuously from the earth, integrated into centuries-old temple architecture.

Yanar Dag
This is followed by a stop at Yanardag-“Burning Mountain” where subterranean gas feeds open flames erupting directly from the hillside. These sites connect Azerbaijan’s symbolic identity as the "Land of Fire" to observable natural science and deeply rooted belief systems.
The total duration of the day spans approximately 8 to 10 hours, including professionally guided explanations and optimized travel times between locations. The day concludes with a return to Baku for overnight accommodation.
