After breakfast in Moshi/Arusha you'll be transferred to Marangu Gate for registration and a briefing. Your trek begins through lush rainforest, home to blue monkeys and rich flora. After approximately 4–5 hours of hiking, you'll arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700m). In the afternoon, you may take a short walk to the Maundi Crater for views of Kenya’s interior.
