Milan, the world capital of fashion and design.
Get out of the city for a few days by heading from Milan to the verdant Lake District. Find some serenity in the lush nature as you explore the lakes of Lombardy, which are encircled by mountains and forests, and their shores are dotted with bucolic villages. During the 4-day and 3-night guided tour, visit the lakes Iseo, Garda, Como, and Orta and learn about the area's history from your knowledgeable guide. Take some free time to explore the lakeside towns of Simione, Stresa, San Giulio, and Orta. In vivacious Verona, take a walking tour of the city: linger in Piazza delle Erbe and stroll down pedestrianized Via Mazzini. Marvel at the imposing Castelvecchio and the tall medieval Torre dei Lamberti. Boat rides on the lakes and 4-star accommodation in Como, Verona, and Bergamo are included. Please note: Rates do not include city taxes, which will be paid at the reception desk when you check in or check out.
