Our day starts with a hotel pickup in Tirana, from where we journey south through scenic countryside toward Peshtan Village. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, river valleys, and traditional Albanian settlements as we leave the capital behind and head into a more rural landscape.
Upon arrival in Peshtan, a charming mountainside village rich in history, we’ll settle into a local guesthouse before enjoying a light, home-cooked lunch. The village played a significant role during the Greco-Italian War and still bears traces of World War II, offering a fascinating window into Albania’s past.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a short, easy walk through the village and its surroundings to explore historical sites, including remnants from early battle positions and wartime artifacts left behind during WWII.
As evening approaches, relax in the peaceful setting of Peshtan, enjoy traditional hospitality, and unwind over dinner at the guesthouse.
