Your adventure begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive to Arusha Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to the Serengeti. The flight itself is a spectacular introduction, offering aerial views of the vast plains and scattered acacia trees. You will land at the Kogatende Airstrip, the gateway to the Mara River region in the Northern Serengeti. Upon landing, you will be met by your private guide and vehicle. After a brief introduction, you embark on your first game drive en route to your camp. You'll immediately be in the heart of wildebeest territory. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills and the iconic Mara River. You might see massive herds of wildebeest and zebra gathering on the banks, a sure sign that a crossing could be imminent.
