Tambopata National Reserve
9:30 AM: Departure from the office in Puerto Maldonado to the main port. Boat ride (~40 min) along the Madre de Dios River to the jungle lodge.
Welcome tropical drink and briefing about the itinerary.
1:00 PM: Lunch and check-in to rooms.
Afternoon jungle walk to see ancient trees and wildlife like monkeys, insects, and birds.
Night river excursion to spot caimans, capybaras, armadillos, and other nocturnal animals.
