Orgosolo
Starting point Orosei towards Orgosolo, one of the most important towns in Barbagia for the richness of its traditions and for its numerous murals, originally painted as a protest tool, which adorn small streets and squares, houses in the historic center and facades of new buildings in this small village in central Sardinia, with an invaluable natural and cultural heritage. The inhabited center is located about 600 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mount Lisorgoni, offshoot of the Gennargentu massif and we will reach it on board our Land Rovers. Around the spectacular and impervious landscape of the Supramonte of Orgosolo, for centuries a refuge for bandits and shepherds, where our excursion continues immersed in the wild and unspoiled nature of the heart of Barbagia.
