Upon arrival to Trelew airport, you will have a private transfer to your hotel in Puerto Madryn (approximately 1-hour drive).
Puerto Madryn is the closest city to the famous Peninsula Valdes where the Southern Right Whale comes to mate and also to feed its calves. Thousands of travellers travel every year to take part in this natural show, which only happens during some months of the year!

Puerto Madryn
Once arrival at Puerto Madryn, you will have the rest of the day free. Our recommendation: Visit the Ecocentro, a museum on the coast where you can learn about the marine life of the region. Discover what it feels like to be inside the belly of a whale in one of the museum rooms, and enjoy the most beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean from the museum tower. The Ecocentro is just a 30-minute walk from the centre, so make the most of the day and walk along the beach! (no activities included)
