Our trip begins early in Cusco when we board our transportation bound for the Abra Málaga pass. Located at an impressive altitude of 4,316 meters (14,160 feet), this place serves as the starting point for an exciting downhill mountain bike adventure (2 hours). Then we had lunch for about 30 minutes.

Descending through 55 kilometers (34 miles) of twisting roads, we're treated to breathtaking views of the lush, subtropical terrain. Donning our helmets, we relish the rush of crisp mountain air as we descend to 1,430 meters (4,692 feet) above sea level.

As we reach the lower altitudes near Santa Maria, we prepare for the next stage of excitement. We embark on a thrilling whitewater rafting escapade along the Urubamba River. As we navigate challenging rapids, we are enveloped by the raw power of nature, all surrounded by stunning views. After our adrenaline-filled rafting adventure, we settle in for the night in the Santa Maria jungle, replenishing our energy for the next day’s trek.
