Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:00 – 7:30 AM and begin the journey to the Masai Mara in a 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep. The drive takes approximately 5.5 to 6 hours, passing through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos and refreshments. You'll arrive in the Masai Mara around midday and check in to your selected lodge or tented camp. After a hot lunch and some rest, you'll head out for your first afternoon game drive at around 3:30 PM. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, and maybe your first glimpse of the migration. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
