After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes. The exact pickup time and meeting point will be confirmed one day before departure. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to the cedar forest of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaques. Pass scenic forests, mountain villages, and landscapes before a lunch break in Midelt. In the afternoon, drive through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves, oasis, and ancient kasbahs, with a stop at a panoramic viewpoint. Continue via Erfoud to Merzouga, where you’ll be welcomed with traditional mint tea. Meet your camel caravan for a sunset ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp.
