Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel. We will transfer you for a one-hour flight to Arusha. Take in the fantastic views of the coast giving way to the vast mainland. At Arusha, your safari guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you. After securing your luggage, you will have a brief introduction during the 10-minute drive to Forest Hills Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we set off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds and very old, towering baobab trees. In our open-roof 4x4, get ready to spot giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even lions. The Tarangire River is a magnet for animals: watch warthogs, impalas, and maybe a leopard resting in a tree. At midday, we will stop for a lovely picnic lunch. Afterwards, the game drive continues, searching for animals until the late afternoon. As the sun starts to set, we will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
