On the route from Quito to Tena city, we'll reach the top point at 4100 meters above sea level, known as La Virgen. If weather permits, we can stop to capture breathtaking views of the Antisana Volcano, towering at 5753 meters above sea level.

The Guango area, nestled near the páramo and hot springs of Papallacta, is a haven for hummingbird enthusiasts and photographers alike. Witnessing up to 14 species of hummingbirds within an hour is a common occurrence, with the Sword-billed Hummingbird and its distinctive long bill being a particular highlight. Our scenic vistas and diverse trails provide ample opportunities for hiking amidst stunning forest-covered mountains. Cavernas Jumandy
Explore, glide, and have fun on an expedition that takes between 30 and 45 minutes through water depths ranging from 30 cm to 1.10 m. Your local guide will provide you with a flashlight to navigate through the stone landscapes filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and hidden waterfalls inside the Earth. Wearing water shoes is recommended. After the activity, you can shower and change before continuing the adventure.

Rio Napo
After enjoying a city tour by the town, we cross the Napo River to embark on a paddle canoe ride on the Huaorani Lagoon. Here, we have the opportunity to observe various animals, including toucans, different species of monkeys, the prehistoric bird known as the hoatzin, and the mighty fish of the Amazon, the Paiche. We may also encounter small turtles called charapas and caimans during our excursion.

Bajo Pusuno (Ahuano)
Upon arrival at the EcoLodge, take some time to unwind.
7:30 PM | Following a delightful Special Dinner, join us for a NIGHT WALK in the Jungle. As the forest comes alive with the nocturnal symphony of frogs, you'll have the chance to observe fascinating creatures such as fishing bats, nocturnal monkeys, owls, snakes, amphibians, tarantulas, toads, alligators, and perhaps even snakes. Don't forget to bring a flashlight for this adventure. Plus, it's a perfect opportunity for stargazing and marveling at the constellations
